Kantan Education offers Japanese language courses from beginner level! Individual online lessons are available for both adults and children. If your child would like to study in a group in a classroom, they are welcome to join our Japanese Language and Culture Club!
In the 2026/27 academic year, Japanese Language and Culture Club classes are held at three locations:
Group for children 7-12 a.: Thursday at 15:45-16:30 (Tehnika 18)
Group for teens 13-16 a.: Thursday at 16:45-17:30 (Tehnika 18)
The first class will take place on the 17th of September 2026. The fee is €50 per month, with classes held once a week in English language.

Estonian-language group for children aged 7–14: Tuesdays, 16:30–17:15

Russian-language group for children aged 8–14: Wednesdays, 16:25–17:10

Japanese language and culture class for children
In the classroom, children get acquainted with the basics of the Japanese language and the culture of Japan in a playful way. In the lessons, we play games, sing songs in Japanese, watch anime and stage scenes from fairy tales. Also, we draw characters using Japanese calligraphy technique.
After each topic, students carry out a small project in which they practice the studied material (Project Based Learning). For example, we cook sushi with our students to practice new words on 'Food' topic.
