KANTAN EDUCATION

Good to know

Japanese Language and Culture Club in Estonian, in person in Tallinn
  • Kantan Education language school’s Japanese Language and Culture Club in Estonian takes place once a week, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes.
  • There are on average 4 lessons per month. The course fee remains the same throughout the academic year.
  • Classes are not held on public holidays or during general education school holidays established by regulation of the Estonian Minister of Education and Research.
  • The season lasts for 9 calendar months, from September to May.
  • Students are registered for the club through the school’s website: www.kantaneducation.com/en
  • Once a group is full, it is possible to join the waiting list. If a place becomes available, you will be notified.
  • Children may be registered for the club throughout the academic year.
  • The club tuition fee guarantees the child a place in the group for the entire academic year, including in the event of illness or a longer trip.
  • It is possible to withdraw from the Kantan Education club at any time during the academic year. There are two options:
a. notify us of your wish to withdraw after attending the first lesson (info@kantaneducation.com),
b. notify us of your wish to withdraw during the academic year at least 1 calendar month in advance, no later than the 30th day of the current month. In this case, the child will remain enrolled in the course for one additional month from the date of notification, and the tuition fee for that month must be paid.
  • Lessons cancelled due to the teacher’s illness or Kantan Education’s organisational reasons will, where possible, be rescheduled within the same study period, or may be replaced by a study trip, special event, competition, or excursion. The time of the replacement lesson will be agreed between the teacher and the parents.
  • Tuition must be paid in full regardless of the number of lessons attended during the month.
  • Our curriculum is registered in the Estonian Education Information System, which allows parents to claim an income tax refund on tuition expenses.
